Adobe Summit EMEA, London

I participated in Adobe Summit EMEA 2017 in London, England. The Digital Marketing Conference’s theme was ‘Make Experience Your Business’. There were more than 100 sessions and labs across eleven topics, such as Content & Creativity, Cross-channel Marketing, Customer Experience, Data-driven Marketing, Hand-on Labs, Marketing Innovations, Mobile Marketing, Programmatic Advertising, Vertical Industry and Industry Experience Area.

I was very excited when I learned that we have a study trip to Berlin, Germany in the spring 2017 as a part of the Innovation and Renewal class at MBA Degree program in Metropolia. The study trip had two days of a scheduled program with a workshop about Change Management and Innovation together with MBA students of HTW University on a very fresh and innovative topic, a lecture from a Senior Change Advisor at Futurice, a visit to Innovation Labs Berlin, a Finnish startup Finnchat, etc. Continue reading

In December 2016 the largest media companies (Alma Media, MTV, Sanoma Media Finland and the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE), the Finnish Association of Marketing, Technology and Creativity (MTL ry), Media Metrics Finland and ComScore have agreed to set up a new online audience currency measurement and organise the Joint Industry Committee JIC in Finland. In November 2016 I went to the ASI 2016 International Television & Video Conference in Budapest, Hungary.  The conference examined the trends in content production and discussed the future prospects for content distribution channels. In June 2016 Evgenia Visited TV4 Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. TV4 is a Swedish television network, the largest commercial tv company and has delivered engaging news, grand entertainment of great variety and quality, live sport and top-class drama to Swedish viewers for over 25 years. I was invited to participate in Bonnier Digital Forum held in Stockholm, Sweden in June 2016. Bonnier Media University is a personnel development program on a corporate’s level, where the company I work for belongs. The theme was The Future of Content and speakers were from media giants CNN, NBC and the Guardian, new native digital players Mic, KIT, Fusion and the Bleacher Report as well as speakers from Bonnier companies included Frida Boisen, Swedish social media influencer and the head of Bonnier Tidskrifter Digital. The Forum was jam-packed with great ideas, innovative examples and insights into the how’s and why’s use new formats, distribution channels and how to monetize it. Continue reading

Predictive Analytics Summit 2016

In February 2016 I spent two days at the Predictive Analytics Innovation Summit in San Diego, California USA. The summit was held by The Innovation Enterprise Ltd. and among speakers there were Google, Microsoft XBOX, The Washington Post, AirBnB, GoPro, Bing, U-Haul, Hookit, Jawbone. It was very informative and interesting to learn how the world’s biggest online players do their predictions and get the most of the big data.
