I had an opportunity to analyze and report online data of such global sport events as Ice Hockey World Championships, UEFA Football Leagues and F1 Racing Competitions.
As part of my Web Analyst job at MTV Media I attend to report online Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of different sport events, such as unique visitors, page views, video starts, traffic, marketing campaigns, etc.
1. IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships 2012 and 2013.
Both Championships were partly held in Helsinki, Finland. MTV Media had rights to air these big sport events on its TV channels (MTV3, Sub, AVA) and websites (katsomo.fi, mtv3.fi, etc.). I had access to all online data and answered any questions about online viewing statistics.
2. UEFA Champions League and Europa League football (soccer) season 2012-2013.
I have got a positive feedback from Sponsorship Intelligence Worldwide, London, UK, which have been commissioned by TEAM Marketing/UEFA to collate online/mobile viewing statistics for the 2012-2013 season’s UEFA Champions League and Europa League competitions. I’ve collected data of Video Unique Visitors and Video Views in MTV Media web property and provided viewing statistics by individual match, matchweek and the season total. Where it was possible I split it by live, highlights/VOD and by viewing device.
3. F1 Formula One racing competition 2012 and 2013.
Formula One is one of the favourite kind of sport in Finland. I maintain reports and provide needed information about the visitors, popular content and site usage of MTV Media F1 website.
